This album is a heart-on-the-sleeve and chip-on-the-shoulder project, written about emotional struggles, adversity, perseverance, change of perspective, and ultimately triumph.

Formerly being a country artist writing seemingly meaningless country tunes, this was a full pivot, opening my doors to more genres including blues, Motown, classic rock, pop, & hip hop. Subject matter has evolved from stereotypical country songs to honest, candid songs about love, fighting personal battles, and of course life -- including all the ups, downs, trials, & tribulations that come along with it.

Initially many of the songs were written solely for dealing with personal issues, as an outlet to release emotions. Upon realizing that many people deal with the same everyday issues, I put my pride aside and decided to share this music with whomever is willing to listen, in hopes that it will offer consolation, joy, or strictly entertainment for whomever may desperately need it. I hope this album means half as much to those who listen as it does to me -- if that is the case, then it will far exceed its purpose. Learn something about me while learning something about yourself.
